Jennifer Tilly was conceived in Los Angeles on 16 September 1958 in very poor circumstances. Her father worked in the automotive industry, whereas her mother taught school and was an unreliable actress. Jennifer was the second daughter of four was a part of theater productions with her mother. She was amazed. At the age of Jennifer was just five years old the divorce of her parents took place. Jennifer lived in British Columbia for most of her early years when her mother and other four children moved there. Jennifer, although she had been quite an artistic child however, she was not the most studious individual. Her time at Canadian schools caused her to be the frequent target of bullies. When her passion for theater was fading, she began to participate in plays in support of her mom. Her mother encouraged her entire family to get involved in art. Then, she began taking actions.
