Yael Stone

Stone was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. She attended Sydney's Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, and at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone started acting when she was when she was a young person, appearing in the movie Me Myself I and the mini-series The Farm. She worked primarily in theatre; at the 2008 Sydney Theatre Awards, she was awarded Best Newcomer and Best Supporting Actress for her performance in The Kid. The television show she appeared on featured support characters on All Saints, Spirited and various other television shows. In 2010, she was a lead actor on stage in The Diary of a Madman. The role won her another nomination in the Sydney Theatre Awards as Best Supporting actor. The actress traveled from Sydney to New York in February 2011 to perform in an upcoming Brooklyn Academy of Music production of The Diary of a Madman.
